Xiyan Lake Ecological Science and Technology City is located in the north of Xiyi Expressway and west of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, in Huishan District, Wuxi. In recent years, the economic scale of each sector of Xiyan Lake Eco-Technology City has continued to grow; the high-tech industry has flourished; the industrial structure has been continuously optimized; and the regional innovation system has been continuously improved, gradually becoming an important force in Wuxi’s innovation-driven development and industrial transformation. Wuxi Xiyanhu Ecological Science and Technology City is planned to be based on Huishan High-tech Industrial Park, leveraging on the construction of Huishan hub with rail transit and expressway transit, to become a science and technology innovation city which integrates manufacturing, life and ecology together, and to become the Pearl of the Canal. The urban design and environmental quality construction of Xiyan Lake and its surrounding areas can not only form a centralized display window for high-quality construction in the high-tech zone, but also become a starting point for attracting enterprises to gather and a compound living room for entrepreneurial activities. It will play the leading role of planning and accelerate the improvement of urban quality.
