Since its original construction in 1969, the facility has been experiencing significant glazing system moisture intrusion issues. The project scope consisted of the complete replacement of all the exterior glazing systems throughout the entire facility, including windows, storefronts, entrances and curtain walls. The existing glazing systems were demolished down to the existing concrete rough openings. New replacement high-performance windows, storefronts, entrances and curtain walls were installed. The installation included providing new flashing, joint sealants and firestopping. Any interior finishes that were removed or damaged during construction were also replaced.
