Simpson Gumpertz & Heger (SGH) provided waterproofing permit drawings for repair work to be done on Moscone Center South. This work consisted of repairing and replacing a total of 25,000 square feet of waterproofing under the walkways, waterproofing on roof areas, and adjacent expansion joints. Locations or repair work were contained in the Allee; upper planters at 3rd Street; roof over the Allee storage alcove; controller enclosure at 3rd Street; 2nd floor terrace and doors; 3rd floor terrace and doors; and the Oracle Store storefront.
Our scope involved assisting SGH to identify any accessibility code issues related to the project scope and waterproofing permit drawings. This included providing generic Title 24 Disabled access drawings for the area at and around the new work being done, identify the accessible paths of travel in the area of the new work being done, filling in the disabled access check list by referring to the reference drawings and the generic disabled access drawings and completing the LEED checklist and Green Building Form.
