Jeffrey Heller, FAIA is President of Heller Manus Architects. He founded the firm in 1984. He is a leader in the profession and green movement with some of the first sustainable architecture and large scale urban planning projects in the US and China, including the first LEED Gold office towers in San Francisco and Shanghai; the first LEED Platinum neighborhood development master plan; and sustainable/livable master plans for Guangzhou's North and South Axes, Shanghai's Yangpu Waterfront, and Ulanhot, Inner Mongolia. His work in China often now involves high speed rail land use implications.
Jeffrey serves on several boards, including the Bay Area Council, Asia Society, Green Growth Leaders' Council (based in Copenhagen), ChinaSF Advisory Board, ULI Leadership Council, Past President of California Architects Board and of AsiaSF, Bay Bridge Design Advisory Panel, and Lambda Alpha International Honorary Land Use Organization. Jeffrey is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
