Situated on a lushly vegetated nine-acre site, this proposed destination resort hotel will include 360 rooms in an effort to accommodate a wide array of travelers. The four-star hotel will contain a restaurant, tasting room, conference and retail spaces, and a health and fitness center. The design concept, suggestive of a country chateau, utilizes the sloping site to maintain a respectable distance between guest rooms, quiet spots and the multi-purpose spaces and recreational areas. The landscaping references formal gardens and terraces, while a sensitive blending of materials and details creates an informal environment reinforced by the mix of building heights and varied roof forms.
