The EmeryStation Transit Village master plan consists of three buildings on a 10-acre site. Chosen for its strategic location in proximity to the newly redesigned Emeryville Amtrak Station, this design plan is of a true mixed-use nature, including office, commercial, and residential properties. As a uniquely modern and progressive urban village prototype, the concentration of several transportation modes, conveniently accessible for tenants and residents, serves as the primary organizing feature of this development. While EmeryStation Plaza is the largest section, with a 384,000 sf, five-story office building that includes ground floor retail and parking, EmeryStation North reflects the Plaza’s character but is smaller in scale at 200,000 sf and six-stories. The third building, The Terraces at EmeryStation, completes the urban village concept, with 100 residential units atop an above ground parking garage.
